I teach IB Maths only, mainly working with students who need clearer structure for AA or AI topics. I like lessons to be calm but active: we usually start with a short check of the method, then move into past-paper style questions. I’m especially good at calculus, functions and helping students make their IA modelling more sensible.

Hi, I’m an IB Maths tutor who keeps things practical. I don’t rush through theory unless the student can actually use it in a question. Most of my students come to me for HL problem-solving, IA ideas or last-minute exam prep. I tend to use lots of worked examples, then ask students to talk me through their own method.

My background is in statistics, so I enjoy teaching the parts of IB Maths that students often find messy: probability, distributions, regression and hypothesis testing. I try to make lessons feel straightforward, not intimidating. We usually work from the student’s current school material, then add exam questions once the idea is properly understood.

I’ll point out exactly where a solution starts going wrong, whether it is algebra, graph interpretation or choosing the right formula. I’m also happy helping with IA drafts, especially checking whether the maths is strong enough for the research question.

I’m a maths tutor with a fairly relaxed style, but I’m quite detailed when it comes to IB mark schemes. I spend a lot of time showing students how to set out solutions so the examiner can follow each step. My favourite topics to teach are trigonometry, vectors and calculus, especially for students who feel they sort of understand it but freeze in tests.
